Collabdoit ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Elevate Ops mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our App.
When your organization creates an account for you, we collect your name, email address, and role within the organization.
With your permission, we collect location data to enable field tracking and branch check-ins. Location is only tracked while the App is actively open and in use. You can disable location access at any time through your device settings.
With your permission, we access your camera and photo library to capture inspection photos, evidence documentation, and issue reporting. Photos are uploaded to our secure servers.
If you choose to use the voice command feature, your speech is converted to text by the speech recognition service built into your device — Apple's on iOS, Google's on Android. The resulting text transcript may then be sent to a third-party AI service for processing (see Section 4 below). We do not store recordings of your voice.
If you take part in a voice call with a colleague, audio is carried live between the participants and is not recorded or stored by us.
We collect information about how you use the App, including tasks completed, inspections performed, and features accessed, to improve our services.
Your data is stored on secure cloud servers. We use industry-standard encryption (TLS/SSL) for data in transit and at rest. Access to your data is restricted to authorized personnel within your organization based on role-based access controls.

Important: AI features are entirely optional. You are prompted for explicit consent before any data is sent to OpenAI. You can enable or disable AI features at any time. OpenAI processes this data under their API Data Usage Policy, which states that API data is not used to train their models.
We retain your data for as long as your organization maintains an active account. Upon account deletion, your personal data will be removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Data sent to OpenAI for AI processing is not retained by OpenAI beyond the period necessary to process your request (typically 30 days for abuse monitoring, after which it is deleted).

The App is not intended for use by children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
